Our Terms and Conditions of Goods are ruled by the requirements of the Consumer Rights Act (CRA) 2015.
The Child safety requirements BS EN 13120:2009+A1:2014 and The Alternative Dispute Resolution for Consumer Disputes Regulations 2015.
Our terms and conditions of sale are in place to protect you the buyer, and us the seller.
We will always be fair, honest and transparent, we will address any issue professionally, quickly and without delay.
1. Applicability of Conditions
1.1 Acceptance of these terms is when the Buyer's places a order and then makes payment, either online, via the telephone, or in the Crosby based showroom, and the Seller's acceptance there of.
1.2 For orders placed by phone an email is sent for confirmation. Customer with no email have no claim for wrong sizes being input, so we suggest ordering online, or obtaining a email account for your receipt.
2. Cancellation or Amendment of Order by the Buyer
2.1 You may only cancel or your order only if fabric has not been ordered or production has not started, this is normally within 2-3 hours after the order is made, you will then receive a full refund. The same time scale applies to order amendments. Next day / express blinds can not be cancelled or amended as production starts immediately.
2.2 If an order has multiple blinds from different ranges/suppliers the total order cannot be refused, cancelled or returned, if only part of the order is incorrect, delayed or even unavailable.
2.3 Orders placed over the telephone will automatically generate an order confirmation/receipt, production can commence within 2-3 hours of your telephone order. Therefore, if you do not receive your confirmation email or any details within are incorrect, please contact us immediately. Your order will be manufactured based on the details within your order confirmation.
2.4 We do not accept verbal amendments. All amendments must be sent by email, a new order confirmation showing the amendment will be sent. Keep this as proof that the email/amendment has been received and made by us. The order will always be made to the final order confirmation sent.
3. Fitness for Purpose
3.1 While great care is taken in making your blinds to the size requested all Blinds are produced with a operating/manufactures tolerance of +/-3mm. This is industry standard.
4. Delivery
4.1 Your goods will be delivered direct to you by a national carrier service. All deliveries are fully insured and a signature will be required on delivery. If we try to deliver while you are out a card will be left, you can contact the carrier on this card to arrange a new convenient free re-delivery.
Deliveries and Collection's are only made durning business 8am-6pm Monday to Friday
4.2 As orders are bespoke/handmade any dates or time periods for delivery quoted are a guide only, and we shall not be liable for failure to meet such date. The Buyer will not be entitled to refuse to accept the Goods or to cancel the contract with the Seller merely due to a delay.
4.3 If the order is delayed by more than 28 days after the current lead time expires then the option to cancel the order is available. None acceptance of delivery is not reason for a refund or cancellation of order.
4.4 All parcels must be signed either damaged or unchecked unless they are unboxed with the carrier. No claims for damaged will be considered if signed for as received in good condition.
4.5 Any items received damaged must signed for as damaged and reported to us within 48 hours after delivery.
5. Claims
5.1 The Seller shall be under no liability whatsoever to the Buyer for any indirect or consequential loss however so arising. It is strongly recommended that your check you have all fixings and parts needed before arranging any installation. Compensation is not paid under any circumstances for any reason.
6. Product information & Image Documentation/Display
6.1 The seller reserves the right to change specifications at any time.
6.2 Any colours and textures described verbally are general guides only to the likeness, and their particulars shall not constitute true representations by the Seller and the Seller shall not be bound there by. Samples are available and recommended.
6.3 Images shown are a guide and preciseness of colour cannot be guaranteed as this depends on the screen settings of your computer. The image scan is of a low quality and does not always show or the transparency, texture or even true colour. So please order a sample to check, please note the sample may still vary from the final batch used to make the blind, but will be a good guide.
6.4 Wood samples and stock timbers change from batch to batch. Wood Blinds are a natural product and varies in its grain and colour this is not a fault but a characteristic and beauty of wood. There may also be warping in some slats; At no time is this grounds for return.
6.5 All sizes quoted are width x drop, in that order, this is industry standard.
6.6 Roller Blinds over a certain size may have a join. Contact us if you want this confirming for your order. Blinds supplied with a join are not faulty and are made to specification.
6.7 The manufacture may change the product specification without notice.
6.8 While all blinds will be made to specification, and delivered in a perfect - fit for purpose state, suitability to your window can not be guaranteed or checked by the seller in advance of order, if the blind is found not to be suitable this is not reason for return.
7. Return of Goods
7.1 The 2014 Distance Selling act, replaced June 2013 with the consumer contracts information states that bespoke goods are not liable for 14 day return. Every blind is custom made (bespoke) to your precise requirements, once made are suitable only to you, and therefore cannot be returned or resold.
7.2 Faulty goods to be returned must be suitably packaged to prevent loss or further damage in transit, The Seller is not responsible for providing 'replacement' packaging, so please keep your packing until you are happy with your blind.
7.3 In the event of the seller sending a replacement for damaged or defective goods, the original goods must be returned within 7 days. The price of the replacement will be charged to the payment card used if the faulty goods are not returned within 7 days.
7.4 If any returned Blinds are found not to be damaged or faulty and are as ordered, to specification, to the correct sizes or colour etc a re-delivery & collection charge of £29.95 will be charged before the goods are returned.
7.5 All 'motorised' blinds must be retuned for testing before any repair or no charge remake can be made.
9. Warranty
9.0 All blinds are covered by a 12 month warranty which which includes carriage, labour and parts. After 12 months repairs are chargeable and collections not arranged.

10. Express Delivery Blinds
10.1 Orders need to be placed by 10.30am for the next 'working' day dispatch
10.2 As all orders are fully bespoke and if delivered late due to carrier delays is not ground for cancellation, however the next day premium will be refunded.
13.3 Express Delivery blinds can not be cancelled or amended as they are released to production immediately.
11. Child Safety
It is imperative that your window blind is fitted child safe.
Each and every blind is supplied either inherently child safe, or supplied with a safety part.
Each and every blind is supplied with instructions confirming what action / parts are need to deem this blind child safe.
If any parts are missing or damaged do not fit your blind, contact us, we will send the correct items by return.
The buyer agrees to use the child safety parts and insure they are installed correctly
BS EN 13120:2009+A1:2014 is mandated under the general product safety regulations 2005.
In Compliance with Child Safety Laws EN13120 - Blinds with cord or chains will be less than or equal to 1000mm, this is for blinds up to 2500mm drop. For blinds with a drop greater than 2500mm the control length will be less or equal to the drop of the blind minus 1500mm. If you supply us with the installation height the distance from the floor to the end of the control will be 1500mm off the floor.
These regulations apply to all retailers, importers and installers of internal window blinds
LEGALITY. English law governs the contract although you can bring proceedings in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland if you live in those countries.
