Please check that with any printed fabric the design is square. Although this is not an issue when used for curtains it can be very obvious when manufacturing roman blinds.
All fabrics we receive will be assumed to be checked and acceptable, no further inspections will take place. When you send your fabric direct to the workroom please enclose a copy of your order or direct from your fabric supplier quoting your order number as a reference.
Fabric is best sent on the roll, and not folded. *DO NOT SEND THE FABRIC TO US AT CROSBY L23*
The factory address will be sent with instructions by email after your order is made.
How much fabric to send us
For working out how much Roman Blind fabric needed for fabric with NO pattern repeat.
You add 100mm onto the width
Then 250mm onto the drop
Then round up to the nearest whole metre
EXAMPLE Blind Size 1100mm wide x 1700mm drop
1100 + 100 = 1200
1700 + 250 = 1950
Total fabric req 2m
If the width of the blind is wider than the fabric width you must DOUBLE the final amount of fabric
EXAMPLE Blind Size 1500mm wide x 1700mm drop
1500 + 100 = 1600
1700 + 250 = 1950
2 x 2 = 4m Total req

Measuring Guide
Whether measuring for a recess or exact please remember the fabric will always be narrower than the overall blind size to allow for components such as side controls and brackets.
This varies depending on the product, Roller blinds for example have a fabric width 30-34mmn less than the overall blind size.
