Product Specification
*Bloc systems should be never fully down while a window behind is open, as this may suck the fabric out of the side channels.
CARE Instructions
Use two hands to operate your blind
Keep your hands centered when moving the blind up and down to ensure even operation.
Always tilt your blind towards the window before operating
Tilting your blind releases the brakes, allowing it to operate smoothly. Operating the blind without tilting the handle will cause long-term damage to the brakes.
Never close your BlocOut or BlocOut XL over an open window
Outside air will create a vacuum that will suck the side rail fasteners out of place and damage your blind. You can only open the window to ventilate your room when the blind is fully retracted. Opening your window when the blinds are drawn will also reduce the effectiveness of its thermal insulation value.

These fabric works well to prevent unwanted light and glare from entering the bedroom and ensures a better night’s sleep for all the family. Perfect for urban areas, daytime naps and long summer nights. *Windows directly behind BlocOut Blinds must remain closed as this could cause the fabric to move when the blind is closed.

Flexibility of Fit
This product is fitted within the window recess only or at the edge of the recess
For a recess fixing measure point where you intend to fit the blind,
For an Edge fitting measure at the very front of the recess.
Inside Recess: You have the flexibility of positioning the blind within the recess using a baton on each side of the window.
The recess depth needs to be 50mm deep
- The three width measurements cannot differ by more than 6mm, and the middle width cannot be more than 2mm narrower than the top width. If your window does not fit these constraints you will need to pack the window so it complies.
- Height is measured in millimetres (mm). Your blind will be manufactured with enough fabric to cover this height (plus a little extra). The height measurements cannot differ by more than 5mm. If your window is very uneven and does not fit these constraints you will need to pack the window so it complies.
- Both side channels are supplied at the same shorter length
- Bloc systems should be never fully down while a window behind is open, as this may suck the fabric out of the side channels.
